Anna B. Mitchell has been with the Anderson Journal since it started in May 2005. Before that
she was a staff writer for the Greenville News and, from 2000 to 2003, was city
editor of the Anderson Independent-Mail. She is a graduate of the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she majored in history with a concentration
on post-war Germany. Her training in journalism started at the University of Texas
in 1997 and continued at the University of Missouri where she assisted with research
in campaign finance at the Investigative Reporters and Editors program. She has
