Gary Hyndman, a native of Charleston, is a staff writer for The Greenville Journal. He has been writing for the Journal since its inception in 1999, writing about local politics, public policy issues, community events, personalities and entertainment. He received a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of South Carolina and a master's degree from the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia.
