Jorée Tamburro has written the food column since The Journal began publishing in 1999. She is the author of two cookbooks and has studied with Julia Childs, Emeril Lagasse, Jacques Pepin and Bobby Flay. She is a member of the American Institute of Wine and Food. She lives in the Upstate with her husband Chuck, a helicopter stunt pilot, and son Christopher.
